Former Research Assistants

Pablo joined the team in March 2020 and he has a MA in Economics at the Universidad del CEMA. He is an economist from the National University of Costa Rica and has special interest in Monetary Policy, Experimental, Behavioral and Development Economics. He received a job offer at Accenture for a Senior Research Analyst position.

Matías is an undergraduate student of Economics at Universidad del CEMA. He joined the team in September 2019 and his main area of interest is behavioral finance.

Martin is an economist interested in applied economics and applied econometrics. He holds a BA in Economics from UBA and is a student of the MA program in Economics at UCEMA. He has been part of JILAEE since August 2019 - Fall 2021. Now he has started his PhD program in Economics at University of Western-Ontario. His main research interests are motivated cognition and the diffusion of misinformation.

Leandro was part of JILAEE from April 2019 till May 2021. Now he is an Associate at Berkeley Research Group LLC.

Rita holds a BSc in Economics from NOVA SBE and will start her MSc in Economics in the same university, aiming to specialize in International Development and Trade. Her main interests focus on Development and Experimental Economics, International Migrations, and Impact Evaluation.

Tomás was part of the team from October 2019 to December 2021. At JILAEE, he has been involved in research projects on gender economics and early childhood interventions. In December 2021, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from UCEMA, where he has also been a teaching assistant since August of the same year. He will continue his academic career in topics related to international and monetary macroeconomics.

Gonzalo is an economist from the National University of Mar del Plata. He is currently a master's student in economics at UCEMA. He is also a research scholar at CONICET-INTA working on environmental and agricultural economics.

Eduardo is a student of the Bachelor of Economics at UCEMA. He is an intern in Management Control at Pampa Energía and teaches tutorials at UCEMA. He is also about to graduate with a degree in Economics.

Ehsan is a recent graduate of Queen’s University, where he completed a dual degree in Commerce and Economics. He will be begin his work as a management consultant in September. His main areas of interest are in behavioral economics and experimental economics.

Kaitlyn is currently completing her master’s in Economics at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. She has an undergraduate degree from the same university in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Her interests are development, public economics and impact analysis

Pilar is studied the Bachelor of Economics at CEMA University. She was part of the group from October 2019 to August 2022. Now she is working at JP Morgan.

Miriam studied UCEMA. She has been part of JILAEE since October 2021. Her areas of interest include Behavioral Economics, Microeconomics and Experimental Economics. Now she is doing an MA in Economics at Universidad del San Andrés.

Lakshmi is a 3rd year student in the Politics, Philosophy and Economics Program at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada. She joined JILAEE in 2022 and her areas of interest are public and development economics and behavioural economics.

Melody is an undergraduate student of Economics with a specialization in Business and Psychology at The University of Chicago. Her educational background includes studying abroad in Argentina, Italy and Mexico. Her interests are International Economics and Experimental Economics.

Martín has a B.A. in Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires and he’s currently a second-year student at the M.A. program at UCEMA. His interests are Market Design, Experimental Economics and Behavioral Economics. He’s been a part of JILAEE since September of 2020.
